MOTORSPORT

In the field of motorsport, our activities are represented by the FESH FESH Team, part of the FESH FESH GROUP. The team was formed in 2012 and its crews participate in long-distance rallies in the truck category. As part of the BAJA rally series, it is regularly placed in the top positions. The best place at the DAKAR Rally was the 11th place in 2016, and at the Rally Africa Eco Race the second place in 2017. One of the pilots and team boss is Tomáš Vrátný, the owner of OSTRA GROUP.

BASKETBALL

We express our relationship to Ostrava, among other things, by supporting the NH Ostrava basketball club, which is one of the oldest sports clubs in Ostrava. Over the years, it has gained a firm place on the map of the orange ball and has never (during fifty league seasons) descended from the highest competition. The former charges of the club still have a place today in their own club, as well as in other teams in the region and the republic. The future of the club lies in a rich student base of more than 500 children and juniors.

TENNIS

For a long time, we have also supported the highest Czech tennis team competition, which is known as Tennis Extraliga. The competition has been played every year since 2006. The tournament of the 8 strongest Czech teams lasts six days, and players of the TOP 100 ATP and WTA rankings regularly appear in it. The final of the competition is always broadcast on nationwide television channels.

SOCIAL AREA

Our support is regularly directed outside the playing area or racing route. We help the Ondrášek mobile hospice, the Čmeláček association, we support development projects at the Municipal Hospital in Ostrava or the Babybox project. Thanks to our joint success in business, we can support those who cannot do without the help of others.

EDUCATION

OSTRA GROUP created a partnership with The Ostrava International School (TOIS).

TOIS is the only international school in the Czech Republic offering three International Baccalaureate (IB) educational programs. The uniqueness of TOIS is primarily the continuity of education in IB educational programs from the youngest students of preschool age to students concluding their studies at TOIS with the IB Diploma.

The aim of the resulting partnership is to support high-quality international education that leads students to the development of their personality and skills, independence, responsibility and healthy self-confidence. At the same time, it is a prerequisite for obtaining new foreign investments in the region, which will offer further opportunities for the development of Ostrava.
